DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
Dismissal procedures have been developed to ensure the safety of all children and to expedite traffic flow. For the safety of all children, parents must wait outside the building in the afternoons and may not pick up their children from the playground prior to 3:15 p.m. Students may not be checked out after 2:45 p.m. unless the student has a documented appointment card.
WALKERS: Student who walk home will be dismissed from their classrooms and guided outside.
CAR-RIDERS: Parents who pick up their children should use both lanes of the one-way drive next to the building. A car rider registration card should be displayed in the front window for easy viewing. School personnel will direct the flow of traffic and relay car rider names to faculty and staff who are supervising students.
BUS RIDERS: Students who ride the bus will report to the cafeteria. As buses arrive, students will be led from the cafeteria to the bus by a faculty or staff member.
