STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
Eagle Eye News
- 5th grade
students apply at the beginning of the school year to be a part of the school
broadcast team
led by Mrs. Norred, Media Specialist. Students produce a
school news show that is aired throughout the school each
morning at 8:45.
Six teams consisting of 1 producer, 1 camera operator, and 2 announcers are
assigned six weeks
each to produce the show.
Green Team: 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who work to beautify our school
Math Team: 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students
Peer Helpers: 4th and 5th grade students led by Mrs. Ancrum, our counselor
Running Club: 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students led by Mrs. Williamson, a 3rd grade teacher.
Safety Patrol: 5th grade students who monitor the hallways as well as the drop-off traffic outside in the mornings
Science Olympics: 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students
Student Council - 3rd, 4th, and 5th
grade (representatives from each grade level and elected officers from 4th and
5th
grades)
